The London Rambling web site is set up under the aegis of the Inner London Area of the Ramblers to record and promote our campaigning for recreational walkers in Inner London. To find out more about the Inner London Area, click here.
The Ramblers is Britain's walking charity, working to safeguard the footpaths, the countryside and other places we go walking, and to encourage more people to take up walking. With 119,000 members in England, Scotland and Wales, we've been working for walkers for 76 years. It does this by promoting walking for pleasure, health, leisure and transport to everyone and campaigning to defend and improve our access to the rural and urban footpath network. You can find out more about the work of the Ramblers nationally here.
The Inner London area promotes walking through its local and London-wide groups. This web-site documents some of our activities to improve the footpath network.
